Working with business

I have worked both in, and for, business.

 

As a Company Secretary for private companies, I have sat around the board table while difficult decisions were made balancing the requirements of shareholders, directors, staff and customers. I understand the challenges in making a business grow and how an effective approach to strategy, policy and risk management can help to ensure that the board’s requirements are delivered. 

 

I have worked with chief executives to sharpen corporate communications so that their message is put across clearly. I have particular experience of working with employee owned businesses and have sat on the board of the Employee Ownership Association.

 

As a consultant I have often worked with business developing and implementing solutions to problems. I have led investigations that helped companies get to the bottom of difficult and complex issues. Clients I have worked for in the past have included private healthcare providers, GlaxoSmithKline and Sky TV.
